Death of Mother Linda Crippa F.D.C.C.

Mother Linda Crippa of the Canossian Sisters died peacefully at Caritas Medical Centre, Kowloon, on 15 December 1972, aged 65.

Mother Linda spent 41 years as a missionary in Hong Kong. For the first few years she was assigned to work in an orphanage in Namtao. Then she served in various activities mainly as an educator with the boarders and in homes for girls and homes for the blind and in schools.

She devoted the last six years of her life to Caritas Medical Centre, Kowloon, as where she was House Sister in the Nurses quarter.

In August 1971 she was affected by the illness that caused her death. Her funeral took place on Saturday, 16 December, at the Catholic Cemetery.
